FinanceHero is an independent information website focused on helping users make smarter money decisions through clear, practical, and locally relevant guidance.
FinanceHero was founded by two friends, Søren Fisker and Marko Petrović, who noticed a clear gap in how personal finance is explained online. For people studying finance and for everyone else, most advice was too generic and lacked real local relevance.
Søren and Marko first met years earlier at a summer language school in England. Years later, they were both studying finance - Søren at Copenhagen Business School (CBS) in Denmark, and Marko at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade. During ongoing discussions, they kept observing the same issue across countries: financial advice rarely reflected local realities.
Despite the abundance of forums, social media, search engines, and AI tools, there was no clear local go-to source for understanding how money, income, costs, and financial services actually work in a specific country.
FinanceHero was created to fill that gap.
We provide guides, comparisons, and educational content focused on local financial conditions - including income levels, cost of living, taxes, and financial services - so users can make decisions based on their real environment, not abstract global averages.
FinanceHero does not offer financial products directly and is not a lender. We focus on education, transparency, and user safety.
